What is RelēF?

RelēF is a non-invasive, office based procedure easily performed to provide relief of pain by inciting your own wound healing response. In several clinical studies success rates are in the range of 80+% at one year of follow-up, usually with a single treatment. RelēF Treatment allows your immediate return to activities of daily living.

How does it work?

RelēF Technology delivers radio frequency (RF) energy transcutaneously deep into the targeted tissue while protecting the upper layers (e.g., skin) with cooling to make the treatment safer and easily tolerated.

While the device cools the skin surface, the body’s own impedance to RF energy generates heat at very specific depth and temperatures up to 50°C, to achieve the desired outcomes – initiation of the wound healing response, without damaging surrounding tissue.

The actual treatment is delivered in “pulses of energy” lasting less than 3 seconds each. A full treatment consists of up to 100 pulses. There is little or no discomfort following the treatment.
